This is a state pension granted to individuals who have not held a regular job and have not made any contributions to the social security (retirement) system. Those entitled to this pension are people with 76% impairment, mothers of seven children or more and people age seventy and up with no income.
It cannot be combined with other types of pensions and/or allowances, that is, people with a non-contributory pension cannot receive another pension or social security in addition to the non-contributory pension. Beneficiaries will receive the pension for life, provided they continue to qualify.
From the age of 18, the person with a disability who already received a non-contributory pension through their parents or guardians, will become the holder of that right and collect it directly on their behalf. If you did not have this pension and from that moment you want to apply for it, you can do so by submitting a presentation to the corresponding body, with all the necessary support that allows you to carry out the process under the appropriate conditions. (ANDIS Resolution 93/2020)
How to process the pension?
To apply for the Non-Contributory Pension (PNC), the Official Medical Certificate (CMO) must be processed at the Public Hospital or Health Center closest to the holder's home and then request an appointment on the ANSES web: www.argentina.gob.ar/anses
All the formalities are free. No manager required.
